I hope everyone enjoyed this beautiful day off in the company of friends and family. Summer is in the air and you know what that means, right? uNAVSA Conference! This summer’s conference marks our 5th anniversary and celebrates a banner year of accomplishments and accolades for our community. We have a wide range of events from workshop speakers coming from across the country to talk about issues that touch our lives to social events for you to network with and build a lifetime of relationships with other passionate Vietnamese American youth leaders from around the nation.
I’d like to remind everyone that the uNAVSA Leadership Scholarship is due TONIGHT at 11:59 PM PST. The scholarship is a FULL-ride scholarship including airfare and accommodations to this year’s conference in Portland, Oregon. There’s still time left to write the very short essay! Additionally, I’d like to remind everyone that conference registration is in full swing with Early Bird Registration ($65) closing June 1st. After that, Regular Registration commences ($80). For those coming in from out of town, as fuel prices soar and summer travel heats up, airfare will become that much more expensive. So, save some money, register early, book your flight and take part in a life-altering experience!
